another patch soon

Thank you all for participating in the SOCOM Confrontation Public Beta. We know that it has not gone as smoothly as we would all like, but I want to assure you that we are working on the issues. Please remember, the main purpose of the Public Beta was to identify just these types of issues before the game is launched.

We are working on and testing another patch right now. For this patch, the focus is to resolve the following issues:

* Abnormally long network synchronization issues when some users in a game have a poor network connection. This issue causes 4-7 minute (or longer) load times when late joining a game.
* An issue where respawn game late joiners were sometimes stuck in spectator mode and could not respawn into the game.
* Remove the latency detection network test which is causing some users with poor network connections to receive the network latency icon (red X).


We will announce when the new patch will be released once we've verified the fixes and it has passed our QA.

Wow, if they do this with the beta imagine what they'll do with the final game. I wish zipper had this kind of support in previous socoms..

Its pretty easy to fix shit when theres 8,761 bugs....

haha word, I suck at this game. I need to play more, but it gets boring when its only 1 map. The final game is only a month away..

haha im jp even ppl that you think r good at this game actually suck right now when we eventually look back at it, youll get better. Most of the game is knowin the maps inside and out and bein a smart player. Actual gun skills have the less to do with socom than in any other gun game I ever played.

That should patch the fact that the bomb goes back to the middle of the map after a certain amount of time. Thats retarded.

i hope they fix reload in the real game. its fun to reload six times in a gunfight

Yeah It sucks when you have to actually wait to see if your gun reloads or not.. Also I hope they patch going prone, I thought they said that going prone was gunna be like S2 where you can dive and shit!?!

reloading works fine once you realize you cant run or jump or do anything while reloading...other then walking. lol

yeah and you cant even jumpshot anymore..
