He's going to turn us into a socialist state. My parents will be paying 56% tax on their incoming according to Obama's proposed plan. Why even work for a job that pays over 250k a year when your giving over half of your earnings away. They will be looking for new jobs after his tax plan goes through.

Obama claims that if you make over 250k a year you are wealthy. That is not true at all. If your banking over a mil a year your wealthy, 250+ is upper middle class. And why wouldn't those that make less vote for Obama? They get do sit on their ass and let those that went to school, worked their asses off and built a business pay them. That is socialism my friends.

Small business owners are going to be killed by this and you will see a lot of businesses close. Many people will also not get married because if your combined incomes go over 225k you fall into this 56% tax bracket. Why would you get married when you will pay 20% more in taxes than if you stay single. Next time you vote you should look at a persons plan before you vote for them just because they are black, or a good orator, and talk about change that is against everything our country is built on. Congrats on your new President that will lead us into a socialist county.

Is it gonna be 56% tax rate for over 250k? Thats absolutely ridiculous. The top 2% already pays 95% of the taxes, I guess itll be 99% with Obama. My parents are screwed too. 300k doesnt go a long way when ya got 3 kids in college, mortgages, 401ks, etc.

WTF why even work hard? Why strive to be something better when Obama will come around and redistribute the wealth. If its 56% thats total BS, the government is robbing you. Socialism.

Nevermind, I just looked at the class brackets on wikipedia. I just went to:
http://taxcut.barackobama.com/ and it says I'll get a tax break of $1800. I don't think I have a problem with that. The upper middle class only makes up 15% of the U.S. so it is obvious where the majority of people stand when the opportunity to get a tax break occurs and who to vote for.

56% is beyond ridiculous though. I was all set to vote for McCain until he decided on Palin as a running mate. With his age I'm not ready to take the chance of Palin running the country. I've met the guy a couple times and he could hardly stand up to do a 45 minute conversation with the candidate tv show taping, he had to lean on a chair a fair amount of the time. I thought his concession speech was well put and I still think he would have been a great President but . . .

Its upperclass in certain areas. In NY and other large cities the living expenses are alot more. 250k in NY does not go far.

Lets break it down
250k under Obama becomes 110k after federal taxes. LMAO Then you also have state and local taxes which we will leave out.
Today 250k is 170k after federal taxes.

Therefore, in order to earn what youre earning today youd have to make 390k. Yes, so a person earning 250k today has to earn 390k under Obama to bring home what they are today. How much BS is that? And these people making 250k arent the people who have the federeal government on speed dial. They arent asking for handouts.

If it is 56%, its theft. Any links Ebbs, because 56% is not believable.

And about being fucked. We are fukd by oil but much of that is out of our control. The upper class will be getting screwed by their own president.

Taxes shouldnt be raised for anyone, they should be lowered. Government should become smaller to coincide with lower taxes. Government is too big right now and Obama will be making it much bigger.

Once again, "The government that governs best governs least".

I wonder if Oprah is sad she will have to give away more than half of her multi-million annual earnings being the huge Obama supporter she is. 56% just doesn't sound right.
