| Sony’s suffered its most damaging blow ever when it announced last night that the PlayStation Network had been severely breached, and that all users information, including credit card info were at risk. So the company’s rebuilding the network from the ground up to make it impenetrable, but apart from that, a representative said to expect a massive update once PSN gets back online, and the features that will be implemented will certainly make many a disgruntled customer happy. Responding to a a user who goes by the alias TheGordonShumway, who was giving Sony advice on how they should reopen PSN by discounting PS Plus, allowing PayPal accounts etc., a Sony rep said: - Quote :
- “As we are rebuilding the network, we are taking into consideration implementing features such as cross-game-chat and in-game video chat to name a few. I cannot confirm any new features at this time but expect a massive update when the network is restored.”
 This sounds awesome, hopefully they throw alot of goodies in the update, revamp the PS store a bit and then throw us an S4 patch. Off topic: I don't think Netflix requires a Firmware update to change themes, but if they can at least do something about there shitty layout that would be great. I hope the online servers are at least back up within a day or two. I can care less about the Qriocity, PS store, home, web browser etc.. Atm | |
